Computer Programming / Visualization Laboratory

Hands-on programming and graphics foundations through C language and OpenGL practice sessions.

This teaching lab is part of the course titled Introduction to Computation and Visualisation (ED1021). The lab session is about three hours per week and is typically conducted in the CAD Lab (ED 204). The aim is to provide hands-on programming experience for concepts taught in the theory classes.

Students first build fundamentals in C programming. During the latter half of the course, the lab introduces OpenGL-based graphics programming so students gain practical experience in graphics concepts and implementation. More details are available at https://ed.iitm.ac.in/~raman/introcomp.html.
