Course syllabus is available here
Class room - ED408
Class Schedule (Jan - May 2019) - Will be in K-slot.
Mondays (2.00 to 3.40)
Wednesdays (4.50pm to 5.50pm)
First of all, the student should show willingness to learn. This course will require the students to
possess good knowledge on "C/C++" programming. Knowledge of Geometric modeling and CAD (see Geometric Modeling and CAD page for details) will be an added plus. Students are expected to solve open problems. Assignments and projects are assigned on individual basis (of course, this will depend on the number of registration). The course will be highly interactive.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- To construct/desgin new algorithms.
- To read/analyze/present a research paper.
- To apply the algorithmic paradigms to various applications.
Goal of the course
Each student will have the oppurtunity to come up with new ideas/concepts and
consequently new results, mostly obtained using a combination of theory and
demonstrating such capabilities will be duly credited.
